It's Back! Filmbase Table Quiz: The Return...
Got a welcome email in from Clare in Filmbase this morning letting us know about a film quiz they are running on Friday November 27th – THAT’S THIS FRIDAY PEOPLE.
I’m sure there are plenty of film related groups out there hoping to get news out to the various networks around the country.
To facilitate these, we’ve set up group blogs on the site to allow you build your network and post updates. This section is perfectly suited to production companies, training centres, film societies and a host of other groups.

Hope you’re well! I’m just forwarding you some info on a fundraiser
that Filmbase is holding this Friday evening. I’d really appreciate it
if you could include info on this in any mailings you might be doing to
members of Crewger and if you could post it on your website as we’re
keen to get a good crowd on the night! Tickets are only €10 each if
booked in advance (€12 on the door) and it’s sure to be a fun night
with lots of film trivia along with great prizes. Who knows you might
even be interested in putting together a Crewger team for the night J

Filmbase Fundraiser Table Quiz - Friday 27th November from 6.30pm
It’s Back! Filmbase Table Quiz: The Return...
Do you think you have what it takes to become King (or Queen!) of the Film Nerds? Or do you have a healthy attitude towards film trivia and just want to have a great night out?
If so, come to the Filmbase Table Quiz, where people will try to remember the name of that actor with the hair, heckle the MC, partake in the (in)famous Filmbase video round and win loads of prizes! (There'll be spot prizes and a great raffle too, for those not blessed with Dustin-Hoffman-in-Rainman-like recall.)

This year’s quiz is a fundraising event for Filmbase to go towards improving the services we provide. We're not asking for too much, as we know everyone’s feeling the pinch at the moment so tickets for the quiz will be a pocket-friendly €10 per person when booked in advance (€12 on the night). Time: Welcome reception with complimentary canapés from 6.30pm, quiz starts 7.15pm (ends 10.30pm)
Venue: Alchemy Club & Venue, at the Temple Bar Hotel, Fleet
Street. This funky new club will play host to the Filmbase Quiz on the
night. Guests at the quiz are welcome to stay on for the late night
club starting at 10.30pm which features an exclusive DJ set from
Razorlight.
