Description

This new project combines original short films and live orchestral performance during their projection. The wish is to recapture the excitement of early cinema performance, when a pianist or a small orchestra was performing live during a silent film. The ensemble has accompanied two short films of Julien Lonchamp, "Verso-Tempo" and "Somnambule". This group is opened to filmmakers or production companies looking for an orchestral score to be written or performed for a film, to event organisers who would like to screen one of the films, and generally to anyone interested n live cinema performance who'd like to take part to it.
